The carbon steel blade of this axe has both a polished as well as rough textured finish, and features traditional Viking style motifs. The squared butt of the axe head is suitable for hammering or bashing. The handle material ash wood. Genuine bovine leather is wrapped around the bottom half of the handle in a cross-hatch design, and is riveted to the handle with pure brass hardware.
